Irish hospitality in a very traditional English inn. A small and friendly inn, whose history dates back to Victorian times.
Ten miles south of central London, Richmond-upon-Thames is one of London's most historic and desirable suburbs - with its own unique 'village ' atmosphere. The town is home to many writers, poets, actors, musicians and painters including Sir Richard Attenborough and Mick Jagger, many of whom are attracted by the beautiful period architecture. Just five minutes walk from the Duke's Head you'll find the thriving town centre. Here, many well known stores sit side by side with a browser's delight of specialist and antique shops. Richmond has long been a mecca for entertainment. It boasts nine cinema screens, a nightclub, over 20 pubs, more than 40 restaurants, two theatres and a museum. Reasonably priced 'pub grub' is available later in the day. Lunch and evening meals are available every day, and at weekends. Food is served all day until 8pm.
